We are your 'home away from home'. Hikers Sleep Port's location is at the heart of the city Tanah Rata and easily access to the Main Bus Station, ATM, Banks, Restaurant and night market.

For tourist who are looking for best advise to go for hiking around Cameron Highlands as we are the licensed & certified nature guide cum mountain guide in this area.

This building of the guesthouse is already aged at least 100 years old and we still keep most of the original material to ensure that the structure and environment remained.

***Property Policies & Conditions:
1. Cancellation policy: At least 2 days advance notice for free cancellation.
2. Check in from 15:00hrs to 20:00hrs.
3. Check out before 11:00hrs.
4. Payment upon arrival by Debit or Credit Card only.
5. For Non-Malaysian Guest, RM10 for each room per night as Tourism tax implemented starting 1st Sept 2017.
6. Separate room for Female & Mixed.
7. No alcohol in the premise.
8. Reception working hours 09:00hrs-22:00hrs.
9. Silent hours at 22:00hrs until 07:30hrs.
10. No shoes is allowed in the house.

Kazz is great and has really good recommendations, breakfast is simple but good, and the hostel is well located. Really enjoyed the hot shower, and overall the facilities are good.

The location of the hostel is perfect. It’s close to everything especially the Tanah Rata bus station. There are also some restaurants nearby which is very convenient. Breakfast is included, but it’s very basic: toast with strawberry jam and peanut butter. There are a few details that are not too serious, but are important to know. If you book through Hostelworld and pay by card, you have to pay around 8% extra at the property, so it’s better to pay in cash. They also ask for a 20 ringgit deposit, which they return at check-out. They give you a receipt with the amount paid, so be careful not to lose that paper. The person at reception was not very friendly. Also, at 10:00 p.m. they turn off the lights without saying anything. When I had to check in, the guy was not at reception. I called him several times and he didn’t come so a friend had to go outside to look for him so he could attend to me. Not all the showers have hot water, so be prepared, because at night the temperature can drop to around 18°C. The facilities are nice there are areas where you can sit and the internet connection is good. Another thing that caught my attention is that check-out is at 11:00 a.m., and after that time you can’t use the facilities anymore. Otherwise, you have to pay 10 ringgit for every extra hour. one of the lockers doesn’t close properly and can be opened just by turning the lock with your fingers.
