    Superb

Remember, you get what you pay for! And for what Tribal costs, and if you want the Pai experience, Tribal is perfect. Especially for solo travelers. Everyone hangs in the common area all the time, and there's things happening every night. If you want a party hostel, it's a party hostel. If you want a place to relax, it's a place to relax. Best of both worlds. Walking to and from center of town gets old fast, but you'll want to rent a motorbike anyway.

Very cool hostel, perfect for chilling out if you’re looking for a quieter place to chill out at nightime and during the day but also has a social space and you can rent bikes too. They have cute dogs!

Nice open space a 15 minute walk from town center. Only stayed for one night but it was good. Tho, mattresses are TERRIBLE in the dorms. So I just went to bed drunk and it was fine

I decided to leave Tribal after 2 days. I did like the bungalow I stayed in, but I found the staff quite rude and the atmosphere was not very welcoming. You will need a scooter to get into Pai village, as the walk is definitely longer than 10 minutes.

A 20 minute walk from the walking street and most of the main bars, but be aware that there are many stray dogs around the hostel, so you might feel safer getting around on a motorbike. Facilities are basic but great value for money.

Went here with one other friend. Not far from downtown area but get a bike. There were about 6 backpackers who had been staying there for over a month and were running the bar area and made the atmosphere pretty weird. Sheets and beds were clean and comfy dorm room has AC. Bathroom was not in good shape and someone shaved their hair/pubes in the bathroom sink and they spread all over the bathroom.

Very few people there in off season (late May) Beds were very uncomfortable and not proper mattresses. You pay for what you get so can’t expect too much At least the staff were very nice

Wasn't given a key for my dorm, luckily I had a padlock so was able to lock my valuables away, otherwise the whole property was very open and easily accessed by anyone. Bed was like concrete and dorm was absolutely freezing at night, actually made me ill. Pretty far from town centre. Staff were nice and tried their best to keep the place clean but other guests were unfriendly, and left dirty underwear in communal showers and mouldy coffee cups in the dorms. Like staying with messy kids!
