I stayed at the University dorm for the experience. I felt like I was on a spaceship due to no one being there. The staff are gracious, very helpful. They put me in a room just across from the kitchen and showers. Perfect. I was in walking distance to pubs, cinemas, shops. I highly recommend it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quickly sorted me out with a different room when door on mine wouldn’t t open. Ideal situation for exploring west end and Clydeside. Very convenient for shops and transport. I loved my stay, though it was too short.........and the corridors are a bit creepy!

Not a typical hostel as it’s a uni dorm so it has a different less social vibe. But was a lovely place to stay to have a bit more privacy for the night and a good nights sleep! It’s also in a great area full of bars and restaurants. Wouldn’t recommend for solo travelers but if you’re staying with friends it’s perfect!

I thought it was great, but signage and labelling of the rooms to match the key fob needs to be exact. Good kitchen and shower rooms, Really appreciated the bathroom. Some in need of repair. Very clear signange required to the rooms and back to reception. Confusing.

Staff were terrific & always very helpful for me & my two elderly parents, visiting from Australia. (Dad loved the Scottish accents, which, he said, sounded "like the angels singing".) Rooms & facilities were immaculately clean. (Only criticism is that the toilet roll dispenser in our nearest toilet was so stiff it wouldn't dispense paper. We solved that problem by buying our own loo paper.) We caught cabs everywhere we wished to go, & the staff were most helpful there too. Many thanks!

My stay was great. The shower was a bit finicky, but other than that everything was great! Would definitely stay again. Perfect location.

To have a private room for about the cost I'm used to paying for a 4 or 6 bed hostel was really cool. Staff is great and when I had an issue with laundry they went above and beyond to help. Around the corner from a Tesco and other small shops for fresh produce. Speaking of food, the kitchen was just ok. There's no ventilation and there was a smell I couldn't quite figure out where it was coming from. Had to prop the door open a few minutes each time to clear it out.

I kept having issues with the door and the key wouldn't work but staff were very helpful and it was overall a lovely stay! It was a peaceful place but I imagine it can get noisy, I suppose it really depends who is there - the walls were quite thin and I could hear the snoring of a neighbour and people walking in the hallway, opening and closing doors, quite clearly.

    Very Good

    25 Aug 2019
Staff are lovely, location is very good, rooms big enough. Down sides: the walls are thin, I could hear the people in the next room. The bathrooms are clean enough but don't smell good, perhaps because there's no ventilation, and there is no extra toilet paper, if you don't expressly ask at the reception it isn't replenished. Rubbish was not emptied my whole 4 day stay, perhaps you are expected to do that yourself? but where?

The doors are making too much noise when they are opened and closed. It is very difficult to sleep. It is not for away but not very close to the University. On the other hand, there are many places to eat around.
