A great location close to the sights and cafes/bars and pubs. Kelvinhall subway not far away so easy for getting round Glasgow. Accommodation great and access to kitchen in same wing good for slef-catering. Very impressed.

Overall great accommodation, room very clean and comfortable, staff helpful, 1 complaint was that the corridors to the rooms were insanely warm, the radiators blasting out at high heat, made it really unfomy at times..overdose great stay

Budget-friendly private room. Tiny room, fairly clean but somewhat dusty around the edges. Shared toilets and showers, but there was no difficulty with line-ups. Kitchen facilities were quite nice. About a 30 minute, nice walk to Glasgow Central Train station and Buchanan Bus station. Lots of nearby restaurants and grocery stores.

    Fabulous

Overall the hostel was pretty good and the location worked for me. Sainsbury local was just 2 mins walks away, and the hostel's location was a big plus for me as the next bike had a stand right next to the Sainsbury. Bathrooms were clean but did not have soap in dispensers. The nearest train station is almost 10 mins walk away. The room's biggest plus was that it was single occupancy. One thing to keep in mind before booking is that the hostel is actually a dorm of University of Glasgow.

Well located near loads of shops bars and restaurants; and cheap. It’s a deserted uni hall of residence and is very impersonal has no life or atmosphere, which is fine if you just need a base with lots of peace and quiet! Suited me fine.

    Very Good

It was awesome in terms of a single room. Spacious, comfortable, and with a sink in the room. The washrooms were a bit grimy, but not terrible. Kitchen did not have any mugs in it or much at all if you're looking to cook your own meals. Overall, pretty decent though, but a bit of a maze inside and WAY too many doors that slammed constantly. When I tried sleeping in someone was cleaning early and they slammed a door every 2 minutes which was pretty disruptive.

The doors are very loud and walls very thin. For some reason I was placed right next to the only other guest in the whole floor. There is no WIFI.

The room was lockable and clean however one of two toilets were broken, the soap dispensers were broken so no way to wash hands and the bins were full of strong sing sanitary items. The hostel seemed to have the heating on full which felt like walking through a sauna - only one tiny window In the rooms to let some air in. Staff however were very friendly, and kitchen was clean. I didn't see any other guests during my stay.

The bathrooms were dirty, and it weren't cleaned for the whole weekend. Showers were all broken or the water wans't hot. The kitchen was fine, we were alone so we had a quiet breakfast. The hostel was almost empty so we didn't have any contact with other people. It's in a nice part of the city but it's not close to the city centre, but you can walk to it. We didnt get any recommendations from the staff and it hasnt have wifi or at least we didnt saw any poster with the signal.
