Wolf Totem is one of those places where the location is part of the experience. The views over the Sacred Valley are beautiful, and being a little away from the center gives it a peaceful atmosphere without feeling isolated. Ivan has filled the place with creative ideas, and you can tell it has grown naturally over time rather than following a standard hostel concept. Every corner has its own character. If you're looking for more than just a bed for the night, this is a place to stay.

Great hostel in Pisac. Booked for two nights and stayed for five. Beds are super comfy and spacious (double bed size) and have privacy curtains. Lockers are big enough for big backpacks. Ivan is a great cook and make you delicious dinners and breakfasts. Theres a nice atmosphere when everyone eats dinner together. There’s even kombucha on tap! 100% recommend and would stay again.

The owner had a long list of unnecessary rules that made the hostel feel more restrictive than welcoming. I also found our interactions uncomfortable, as he seemed to look for reasons to argue rather than communicate respectfully. This was not the relaxed, friendly atmosphere I expect from a hostel, and it negatively affected my stay. Based on my experience, I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
