You'll find us in Chicago's party centre Wrigleyville (a little corner of the Lakeview neighbourhood), with loads of bars and clubs right on our doorstep. Wander along North Clark Street or North Sheffield Avenue (that's our road) for beer gardens and sports bars or sushi and pizza places. Downtown is only 20 minutes away: just take the Red Line from the station a few steps away. The journey to the hostel from O'Hare International Airport takes around an hour – jump on the Blue Line to Addison, and then bus 152 to Addison & Clark.

Our rooms are bright and bold, and when summer hits you'll be glad of our air con! Choose between private doubles (perfect for couples) and super-sociable mixed or female-only dorms. I stayed in Wrigley Hostel for 3 nights. This was the first hostel I'm stayed at during my USA trip. It set a really high bar for the upcoming hostels I book ;) Haley the receptionist was super friendly, and the atmosphere in general was just so inviting. My bed and linen was comfy and the lockers were a great size. A wicked amount of common spaces both indoor and outdoor! Infinite TV channels. WrigleyVille is a great location too. Nice to explore the 'non-touristy' areas of ChiTown! ❤️ 💙👍

I frequent the Wrigley Hostel anytime I stay in Chicago. It is absolutely the Chillest spot! The staff is always very informative and kind and they’ll go through incredible lengths to keep you safe! I had a very bad accident and they did everything they could to protect me and ensure that I had a wonderful stay. Thank you Wrigley hostile y’all are the real MVPS!!

Great place but the bunk beds are the out dated and are wobbly and there is no way to get up there unless you stick your foot a way from the guy that’s sleeping. Great place to stay great location I would get a private room next time.

    Fabulous

The only hostel in this beautiful and cool area of Chicago (wrigleyville). Price is affordable for travelers and atmosphere is chill over there despite the pandemic mask enforcement. Stuff is truly amazing, special thanks to Ida for guiding and helping us during the stay. The only thing that was a little uncomfortable is underground floor, and rooms with small windows there. But all houses around are built that way so it’s fine. Again great location, away from downtown, closer to Cubs stadium!

First: the staff is great and kind, location is awesome for exploring Wrigley/Lincoln Park (far from downtown). I would stay here again in a heartbeat with a group. That said - the hostel is majority male and most of them don't usually stay at hostels... that leads to a nightmare for women traveling alone. I found myself feeling like I had to manage guys' egos and some of them were very aggressive. Multiple women had a problem with one guy and he wasn't asked to leave. I didn't feel safe.

Overall not a bad experience. I was really disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There was about an inch of dust underneath furniture and in the corners. Additionally, the AC in our room barely worked.. It was a window unit that had tape holding part of it together. We were all sweating during the night time. I reccomend bringing your own towels, because if you come back late and expect to shower there are none around for you. The staff was very friendly and the common spaces were nice.

    - overall location not very safe at night. best way to get there from downtown chicago is taking the red line which is NOT safe after like 10 PM, especially as a single female - felt cramped in the rooms as the beds were laid out all over the floor. i think it would have felt less cramped if there were bunk beds, which is what i was expecting - in conclusion: you get what you pay for. cheap place to stay at night. there's wifi and a kitchen, just so scary getting back at night.
