Overview

At Yes! Lisbon Hostel, we'll help you get the party started with our free shots and pub crawls. You can head off on a free walking tour around the city during the day after sampling our free tea, coffee and chocolates. We do dinners, too, so you'll soon be swapping travel stories with other guests over a scrumptious meal. Our common areas, like the cosy lounge and on-site bar, are buzzing places to chat with other backpackers or to try your first taste of vinho verde (green wine).

Location

Because our location's so central, you can save cash by skipping public transport. We're a 2-minute stroll from the big Praça do Comércio square and the Baixa Pombalina downtown area, and Lisbon Portela Airport is about 35 minutes away by Aerobus. The old quarter of Alfama, with its quaint, twisty streets and cobbled footpaths, is about 15 minutes away on foot. The iconic No 28 tram, which takes you past many of Lisbon's most famous sights, stops in the street right behind our hostel!

Rooms and Dorms

Book a private room or keep some extra euros in your pocket by going for a mixed or female-only dorm. Some are en-suite, and all have air con and lockers. Your bedding's included and every bunk's got a light, so you can read a couple of chapters of the novel you got from the book exchange before dozing off. Book a custom-made bunk with a curtain if you like your privacy without a big price tag.

Extras and activities

As well as a kitchen for prepping your meals in, we've got free Wi-Fi for looking up recipes. Our elevator means you can pop down to the 24-hour reception in no time and ask about our trips to Sintra to see fairy-tale castles in the hills. Up for sticking around the hostel instead? There are board games, a PlayStation and DVDs to keep you entertained.

Probably the best hostel I've stayed at. The dinner deal with open bar is 10/10. Another 10/10 is the receptionist Sarah. So professional and fun at the same time. Facilities are impecable. Bed is comfortable with power outlet, lamp and curtains. Free walking tours everyday so you can get to know the city and socialize. It was a blast!

One of the best hostels I've stayed at! The rooms are confortable and everything is sparking clean. The staff is really great and manages to keep a good and social atmosphere even during these covid times. I highly recommend getting the breakfast option as it is a great deal and will keep you full for hours. Dinner with open bar is also amazing and gives you a chance to meet other travelers! Yes hostel will definitely be my go to whenever I come back to Lisbon!

The hostel was super nice. It was my first stay in a hostel and a great one I must say. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, as well as the bathroom. I loved the drawers under the bed and especially the socket and USB charging station right next to your bed. The bed was comfy and the pillows fluffy allowing for a calm night of sleep. A great experience considering the Covid situation.

    Fabulous

A great, good quality hostel in central Lisbon. In fact, you cannot get more central than this. This is it! The common area is great for both socialising and working on your laptop. Atmosphere and staff amazing too. Cleanliness great. My only minus comes from the loudness of the traffic that can be heard into the rooms quite clearly. Of course, comes with central location, but can really annoy you when you wanna catch some shuteye. Overall one of the best hostels in terms of quality & price.
