There are several Métro stations within a 15-minute walk of the Eiffel Tower, including Trocadéro, Bir-Hakeim and École Militaire. The closest RER (Réseau Express Régional/Regional Express Network) train station is Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel, 500 metres from the site. There are also several bus routes that stop nearby. Charles de Gaulle International Airport is 30km northeast of Paris and has a Ouibus service that travels directly to the Eiffel Tower in around 40 minutes.
