The most convenient mode of transport around the island is Taxi because it allows you to visit multiple places quickly and easily. Taxis on the island are a bit different to what you might be used to, expect a fixed rate for the destination you’re going to and the time of year you’re travelling in. There are two main stations, the North and South station, that service the most popular villages and all-time favourite beaches. You can also choose to travel by boat to beaches around the island, plus if you want the quickest form of transport then consider hiring a bike or motorcycle.
