The former 'Hotel Madison am Dom Köln' belongs since January 2016 to the a&o chain, offering the same standards as in every a&o Hotel and Hostel. Our guests have the possibilities to book our rich All-you-can-eat' breakfast buffet or the late check-out (on request and only in private rooms). Our reception is open 24/7 and our friendly staff will be happy to help and advice you. The lobby bar invites you to drink a Kölsch beer. WLAN is as always free at a&o. Car parking spaces are in the underground garage for a fee available.

The hotel is located in the central of Cologne, directly at the Ursulaplatz. Right next to the hotel are the famous Cologne cathedral and the central station. The old town, the main shopping streets, the famous museums and many other sights of the city can easily reached by foot or public transport, like the Cologne fair. The central location of the A & O Koeln Hauptbahnhof is perfectly accessible by bus, train or car.

A clean, nice and comfortable place to spend your nights, and the location is good. It's not a place to meet people, though, and the check-in process is impersonal, as you may be met by a screen instead of a person.

The guy that stays in the front desk is SUPER NICE.5 stars for him.Place was not well cleaned, the toilet was smelling really bad when we arrived. There was chunk of dust under the bed. The location is great as is only 5 min from the train station but be mindful as is extremely noise. The windows don't block the sound well and you can hear noise all day and night and is very loud. We asked for a fork to eat something and we were denied. The lady that stays in the front desk is not friendly.
