On the site where a school cabin served as a hostel in 1936, there now stands a spacious new-build featuring modern infrastructure, varied cuisine, a cosy bar and a 24-hour reception. Just a stone's throw from the lake shore, it's the perfect place from which to start chilled afternoons on the lake, a discovery tour of the exciting city of Zurich, or a thrilling visit to the zoo. Great place, enjoyed my stay. Had a pretty strange room and people that stayed there were not young at all. Best to go with a friend but people were were pretty willing to hang out, just a bit strange. Everything was pretty clean and the staff were so damn awesome, such great people. As a heads up, you gotta pay for everything extra that you want here. Staff gave me a pair of free ear buds but they are usually 2 franc. Also no kitchen :(z

the staff was amazing! the breakfast was delicious with a few vegan options. To get downtown, you need to take a bus, but the bus stop is sooo close. I didn't feel the hostel vibe. It felt more like a hotel with a lot of groups and kids. The only thing I suggest is to put a curtain on the beds to give us more privacy. There are lockers and a sink one door after the bedroom which is amazing

Nice and clean hostel. We only Stayed for a night in a form but they blocked the remaining bed and let is have the room to ourselves 10/10 personel. Reccomend booking a room with AC but it wasnt a neccesity
