Twice a setting for the Winter Olympics, St. Moritz has a huge network of slopes and offers countless summer activities, too. Particular highlights include the view from Muottas Muragl and from local mountain Corviglia (with its mountain bike Flowtrail), horse racing and polo on the frozen lake, the Cresta Run or a bobsleigh taxi – followed by a typical cheese dish in the youth hostel's rustic dining room.

St. Moritz Youth Hostel offers a very clean environment with friendly and helpful staff. Guests appreciate the excellent breakfast buffet and the convenient location, though some note the facilities are a bit dated and the atmosphere can be quiet, making it best suited for families and mature travellers.

A decent stay! Rooms are not very private - no curtain to go round the beds - and also you need Swiss franc to lock the lockers in the dorm. They had breakfast and dinner provided which was ok although not really any vegan options so I often opted to buying (expensive!) groceries at Lidl / Coop. It’s around a 25 min walk to St. Moritz station, around 15 mins to Coop/Lidl. There’s some lovely hikes to do. Overall it was fine!

The hostel is the only one in St Maritz, so choosing it is somewhat of a forced hand. The facilities themselves were fine, though I was uncomfortable leaving all my belongings in the room. The hostel was clean, but the vibes were off. At certain points it felt like I was walking through an abandoned hospital. The staff were very friendly, but were somewhat jobsworths (I think fearing the wrath of higher-ups), which meant that the customer service was lacking.
