Shoestrings is a brightly coloured backpackers a mere five minute walk from town which makes getting around a breeze.

All the doubles and twin rooms are en-suite and linen is provided.The facilities include a lively bar, a pool and restaurant, 24 hour security, great staff, two cats and two of the most famous dogs in the world.
The staff can help you with all your Victoria Falls activity bookings as well as any onward travel you might be interested in doing.

All accommodation and activities need to be paid in foreign currency, and to make your travels easier we would advise you to travel with US$ cash.

Great place for young crowd to stay up late bumping to music at the bar and pool, every night of the week. Lots of friendly people and staff. Very basic amenities, hostel-style. Volleyball court, pool, pool bar, courtyard is nice. Not the ideal fit if you want to go to bed early- rooms are not sound proof.

Great location in the middle of Vic Falls. Decent price for what it is. Well cleaned. The staff were ok but not super friendly. It feels more like a bar with some rooms added on - the bar is the focus and the music was so loud that I couldn't even stand at the bar and yet there were only 5 people there, it was like a nightclub speaker in a bar, weird and annoying. Pool is super, grounds are lovely and peaceful in the daytime. Security is ok but anyone can come into the bar and walk around.

Incredibly noisy hostel not somewhere to go if you want to sleep. Music was booming until early hours. Bathrooms were flooded and disgusting and nothing felt clean. I do not recommend staying here!
