We really liked the hostel. Our private room was the most quite we had in 6 month in south america. Loved the area. Reception staff helped us buy football tickets! Bed and pillow not so nice. Nice common areas but not looked after. It could be so beautiful an useful if someone cared. Same with the kitchen, could be so good but no one makes a small effort and buys bowls and spoons. It lacks a lot of supplies. Felt like the cleaning staff hated you even though you just excited.

The room I stayed in (4 bed) didn’t have curtains on the bed 🥲 but they had outlets. Bathroom was what u would expect from a cheap hostel. The keys to this place were beautiful, like big and medieval like. Close to a mall, a lot of parks, restaurants and bars. Great area overall, feels very safe!!

Hostelworld says

Play Hostel Arcos is located in "the best area in the city for cafes and place to go out in the night", according to our guests, who also say they appreciate the free breakfast of "bread, coffee, tea, chocolate milk, jams, butter and dulce de leche". Visitors tell us the friendly staff are "tirelessly helpful". This clean and safe hostel serves cheap dinners three times a week and features a comprehensive weekly events calendar and under-bed lockers. We like the art deco-influenced style of the building.
