Summary of traveller reviews

Han Jin Hostel in Gyeong-Ju is praised for its incredibly friendly and helpful owner, Clint, who offers great local tips. Its central location is a major plus. Some guests note the property is a bit dated, and a lack of air conditioning can be an issue in warmer months.

Han Jin is a gem! It is owner operated- Clint is always there to greet you when you come in and wish you a good day going out. He is also full of information. Another part of its charm is that it is an older building so it is like going back in time a few decades to feel some nostalgia. The only real inconvenience is that the shower and sink are in the same space so if you use the toilet and someone is in the shower, you have to wait to wash your hands. Other than that, you do want to stay here!

The hostel is a bit outdated but a great place to stay. The host is such a kind soul who shared many recommendations. Also for a good conversation and a good laugh.

A very lovely host, he took it over from his father a few decades ago, gives great advice on what to do. I was the only one there at the time so didn't mind that there were no curtains.
