The place is on the west bank and you can rent a bike to see The Valley of The Kings and various other sites. Ignore the people who hassle you and use the public ferry, Luxor is really bad for that. It is rustic for sure so be prepared for that, but it's nice to have the privacy. Absolutely lovely owner.

Ahmed, the host, is the BEST!! He can help you with anything you need. If you like to keep to yourself this might not be the best fit because Ahmed loves to make sure you’re having fun and making friends and getting around the city alright, but it’s such a fun time. He is very helpful with ANY questions you have and is always down for a chat or even a smoke. It’s also such a nice camp vibe. It’s a little rustic but nothing too crazy and everything is taken care of!

I loved hanging out with the host, Ahmed. This would be great little spot for a big group or even just meeting other travelers! Ahmed will help you with pretty much anything, meals, tours, etc. Maybe check your options price-wise for tours, but having a local set them up is easier. It’s undoubtedly out of the way, especially for a place like Luxor. But being able to kick off your shoes in a quiet spot at the end of a day is unbeatable.
