Located at an altitude of 915m above sea level the hostel is surrounded by mountains and offers a great view over the Alps. The center of Oberstdorf is 2,5km away. The area is famous for the mountains of Kleinwalsertal and the huge variety of possible outdoor activities. During winter season the largest skiing area north the Alps can be found just a stone’s throw away from the hostel. In summer time the area is the perfect starting point for hiking, climbing, rafting, canyoning and mountain biking. Also the Breitachklamm is always worth a visit.

The bright rooms at Jugendherberge Oberstdorf-Kornau have lockers and a seating area. Some rooms offer private bathroom facilities, some have a balcony. Guests can use the ski cellar and bicycle storage.
