To be part of the Chur Nightlife you don`t need to leave the house. On the ground floor of the Hostel VIVA Club is located. With its charm and good musical entertainment it provides an enjoyable evening on weekends.

The VIVA Hostel is located in the Heart of Chur. Situated just a 10 minute walk from Central Station. The bus stop is reached in 50m. The expedition through the old town of Chur can be started directly by the doorstep. Close by is the Mountain Railway. Whether it's a day of skiing, a sledding - adventure, a walk or bike tour - the cable car takes you to your goal.

VIVA Hostel Policies & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 48 hours before arrival.

We use a self-check-in machine for check-ins. Your credit card will be charged the day before arrival and the check-in information is sent via email.

This property may pre-authorise your card before arrival.

Guests are reminded that once they have paid, no refunds will be issued.

It was well situated, not far from the station. Clean, but some stains on the carpet in the bedroom. Getting in with the key box was easy. There was a kettle and microwave in a small communal area on there floor I was on. The showers were warm, but it is difficult to shower without everything in the cubicle getting wet. Good value for the area. The stairs to the third floor were steep, hard to manage with any sort of luggage. I was OK with a rucksack. No lockers in the room.

I payed the reservation fee and when they wanted to charge my card with the rest of the amount they couldn't. I didnt get the code to get in but a phone number. I called it, a lady answered she told me she was at the front desk. I never met the lady after this conversation. I couldnt get into the hostel and couldnt ask for a refund for the reservation fee. Worst hostel ever.

There’s no front desk (not sure if that’s permanent or temporary), the self check-in and check-out system is super convenient. There’s no elevator, so it might be a challenge for those carrying large luggage — though I wasn’t one of them. An 18-bed dorm might sound a bit crazy, but it was actually fine — everyone was quiet, and it was a great setting for meeting new people and starting small talk. The bathroom was clean, and I really liked the interior design of the hostel.
