We loved our stay at the Pousada do Alemao. Ika was very attentive and accommodating. She helped us find transportation for our family to the sights, accommodated us with our laundry, and allowed us to stay longer after our plans changed on our last day and we needed to kill time after check-out before our flight. The place is so peaceful and lovely and completely clean. The pool is ice cold, which was nice in the blistering heat. Only problem is the location is far from everything.

This is a very good hostel/guesthouse if you would like to see the Iguazu-Waterfalls on the Brasilien side. Close to the busstation and also not far away from the airport. The owners are very friendly, very helpful and the hostel is nice too. I travel alone as a women in southamerica. And when I arrived in this hostel it make me feel safe and in good hands. The owners helped me a lot and even cooked a vegetarian dinner for me. Would stay there again. Breakfast was top!!

One of my best hostel experiences by far! We were upgraded to a private room with a bathroom, fridge and air conditioning. Staff was AMAZING - so friendly & helpful! Guest kitchen is nice as there aren't many restaurants nearby (but there are grocery stores). Breakfast was incredible as well, and there was strong WiFi. The location is a bit out of the city, but it's quiet and with Uber it's still convenient. Front gate was open sometimes, but it is a safe area. I highly recommend this hostel!!
