This place has sooo much potential, I wanted to love it - it’s a dream location, but doesn’t make the most of it. Pros: amazing views, great pool, good free breakfast, proper jungle vibes. Cons: hardly any bathrooms, downstairs bathrooms always lacking toilet paper and nowhere to hang/put your clothes in the shower so everything gets wet. Pretty unfriendly staff (except for the one nice guy) and volunteer - I wasn’t even shown my room, just pointed vaguely upstairs.

We stayed in a private en-suite which was lovely and spacious and equipped with aircon and mosquito nets as well as having a private balcony. The room was nice and clean, and there was also a pool at the hostel. The staff allowed us to check in slightly earlier after getting an overnight. Free breakfast was average (scrambled eggs, bread and banana). Perfect for the day before your amazon tour.

It was not very clean, but okay. However, I was put in a room with two people making some spiritual stuff all over the room and when the girl from the hostel realised I was a bit uncomfortable with it, she moved me to a different room which was very kind.
