Casa Caribe Havana Hostel is a nice hostel located in the heart of La Havana. Included breakfast is served daily. Guests can enjoy our terrace, kitchen, common area, book exchange and 24-hour drinking water. Free towels are included. Stay connected to internet from our hostel, extra-fee must be applied.

Casa Caribe Havana is a true backpacker’s hostel ideally located in the city centre of Havana. Perfect location for an unforgettable stay in Havana. The hostel is within walking distance to the most important and interesting parts of the city and the seaside (Malecon ) where local people gather to enjoy a drink. We are close to the Casa de la Musica, Palacio de la Rumba and Callejon de Hammelan, the best restaurants, food and green markets. You will feel like at home.

We have comfy beds with air conditioning, hot water. We have a 10 beds mix dorm with lockers for 12.00 euros per bed per night and a double room with private bathroom for 30.00 euros per room per night.

General:All there is to know about our Hostel
IN GENERAL:
Welcome to Casa Caribe Havana Hostel; we work to make you feel home with us.
- Our check in starts at 14:00 and our check outs are at noon.
- At your check out, we will appreciate if you leave your bed organize, and the A.C and lights off.
- Internet access is provided by the government in different places of the city. We have WIFI in our Hostel, the closest ETECSA offices (Cuban Telephone Company) to our Hostel is across the park in front of the Hostel
-The name of our wifi spot is wifi_hostel, and the password is rodolfo12
-If you have problem to login, please turn off the router (red light button) behind the sofa and turn it on again and wait five minutes.
-To logout turn off the router again.
-Here are some others place with a WIFI: in the park of Linea ave. in San Rafael and Italia Ave (Galiano), in 23rd Ave from L Street to Malecon (sea wall), in the park on L Street and 25th in front of the Colina Hotel, at the end of San Rafael St. in the Inglaterra Hotel (where you can also buy the 1.50 access cards), across the street from the Inglaterra Hotel in Central Park, or in any of the government hotels in the city. You can purchase access cards at most hotels or in the ETECSA offices. - Access cards for Wi-Fi (Nauta) will provide you with a user name and a password. The card allows you to connect for one hour, which you can use for a month (remember to log out), or else you may lose the remaining time.
-as you see we provide Linen and towels, please take care of them do not put them in the floor
- If you break anything, please pay for it - we are not rich, and in Cuba things are difficult to find and expensive.
-Please do not bring visitors.
-The use of drugs (any kind) is totally unacceptable in the Hostel

FROM OUR KITCHEN:
- There will always be water in the dispenser
- If you use the kitchen please clean the dishes.
-Please take good care of our dishes, things are hard to replace here.
-Many of the cafeterias in the neighborhood provides good and cheap food,we can also make dinner for extra 5.00. let us know if you want to eat with us at breakfast time

LIVING ROOM AND COMMON AREAS:
- Feel free to use the common areas, such as the living room, balcony,back terrace,roof terrace ,but please remember that our Hostel is located in a family building Please don´t be noisy if you come late at night.
- Our smoking areas are the balcony ,back terrace,roof terrace.
- We also offer you free drinking water8hot and cold), enjoy it.
ROOMS & BATHROOMS:
- Please use the safe for your valuables. We will not be responsible for lost items.
- If you are going to use the air conditioner please turn it on with the remote control, never manually. Please turn the air conditioning off if you leave the room to save electricity.
- Please close all doors and windows if the A.C. is on (help us save energy and our planet will be a better place). Or if you go out close it too, because in Cuba sometimes it rains even without notice.
- Please close the shower curtains completely so that the water is contained in the shower.
- Please do not throw the toilet paper in the toilet, but instead put it in the trash bin next to the toilet. Our city’s sewage drains are too old to accommodate TP.
- To flush the toilet, just a quick push on the handle will do.
