Absolutely excellent hostel, probably the best I've been to in South America. Great food, amazing staff, loads of places to chill out and activities to do, and the atmosphere is brilliant. The only drawback is you'll end up cancelling plans to stay longer!

Lagarto was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my life! The place is incredible — it has everything you could want: cozy chill-out areas, hammocks, a pool, a treehouse, and plenty of social spaces to meet new people. The breakfast is fantastic, always with fresh fruits, natural juices, and delicious options like eggs and cuscuz. But what truly makes Lagarto special is the people. The staff and guests create such a warm, caring atmosphere that it feels more like a family than a hostel.
