About

The lodge has been hand built, with lots of love for detail, by its local management and owners, who will make sure your Palmar experience will be filled with special memories.

Situated at just 1 hour away from the city.
El Palmar is a small beach community famous among locals as a surfing location. The waves are perfect for both beginners and the more experienced individuals. The beach is crowded during weekdays. This picturesque village has surf schools, hotels, beach side restaurants, private homes and condominiums.

We offer shared and private accommodations, all of which share the showers and toilets. The site is perfect for a peaceful rest on the hammocks or for an active and fun volleyball match on our very own mini synthetic grass field.

Really nice chill hostel on the beach. Comfy beds and good facilities. The guy running the place is super friendly and will let you take a bike to cycle into San Carlos. There’s a really nice chill out area with hammocks and some yoga mats outside. The nearest shop is back on the main road but it’s only a 10 min walk or else another 10 into San Carlos for more shops. It’s a very chill area with not a lot going on but nice for a stop for one night!
