The new Kasbah Red Castel property is located close to the famous Place Jamaa El Fna and local Souks 6mn wlk. The property itself is situated in Kasbah, primarily a local area that is new to tourism. Kasbah is a small oasis of peace and local Moroccan tradition, located within walking distance from all the tourist amenities and Souks of Marrakech. We offer all the typical services of a backpackers or B&B, but with a unique local focus at discount prices. Facilities include:

3/5 stars Pros: - Excellent location - Nice building with an open air center and balconies - Friendly staff Cons - No private lights for each bed so the overhead light was constantly being turned on - The card machine is broken so despite the listing, they only take cash - Stairs to the upper levels go through part of women’s bathroom - Very lively and loud at night, so bad for earlier sleepers Some advice for the hostel: remove the locks on the outside of the bedroom doors - they are scary

Great hostel! The shared rooms were really nice, clean, provide privacy and rest, and have lockers for each bed (bring your own lock). The bathrooms were clean and the showers were fantastic: cannot remember another hostel with showers as nice as this one! The vibe in the hostel was chill, cozy and fun, and it is easy to meet people. The staff is very helpful, but I did run into an issue with the airport transfer: if you need to get to the airport in the morning, better to arrange it yourself.
