Khotso is situated just outside Underberg. We are all about getting outside, meeting people from around the world, and sharing good stories. We are known for our epic horse trails and multi-day horseback and hiking expeditions into Lesotho. Get a group of friends together or join us on your solo travels and explore the mountains. Eat lunch with a view, listen to the horses' hooves crunch along mountain trails, and reminisce about the day's adventure over a beer in the evening.
Make the most of your time at Khotso - hike to a mountain pool, swim, fish, or tube the Umzimkhulu River, mountain bike, horse ride, or simply take time out from your busy routine and breathe.
Stay in our vibey lodge where travellers meet and enjoy a hearty, home-style dinner or breakfast around the table. Pick a cosy self-catering rondavel with a fireplace and mountain views, one of our campsites along the stream, or our hand-built, self-catering log cabin that sleeps the whole group.
