About

Adra Hostel is a boutique hostel where young and adult travellers live in a beautiful place surrounded by art and culture. No matter who we are or where we come from, in Adra we all see ourselves as equals, without differences and with a common goal: to build a better world, to protect the environment and to reach out to the needy. Adra is a place for travellers seeking an atmosphere of harmony, community and brotherhood. A space in which you can relax comfortably and safely, in Adra we also provide an exceptional personalised service.

Adra Hostel is in one of the most iconic streets of Antigua, la Calle Real, just two blocks away from the central plaza. It is a classical colonial house from the XVIII century with beautiful architecture and a central patio where you can rest and soak up the sun. Adra’s objective is to generate a space where differences are respected and where attention and care for others in need is the rule. With that in mind, we encourage our guests and friends to participate in different social and volunteering activities around Antigua, where they get to meet like-minded locals and be part of the change.

Don’t like the see through shower in the shared dorms and staff didn’t seem to excited to be there but it was in a good spot in town and would be more fun with more people

As much as it's a hostel, their direction is more of a boutique hotel. Private events (party) hosted at hostel's "restaurant"at times till 10-11pm where outsider guests were able to roaming around. Drinks not allowed which is understandable as they sells drinks. But to not able to consume own food in hostel, that defeat the meaning of hostel ideal but it could be just me. All the staff always smiling and friendly all the times except the Lady supervisor can be more smiley being a good example.

Some of the best fries I’ve ever had, everything was really nice except that they had a bug problem when I arrived. They immediately solved it though and apologized.
