Troncones Point Hostel

Troncones Point Hostel is the original hostel in Troncones, welcoming travellers since 2013.

We’re a small, independent hostel with a relaxed, personal atmosphere, just a short walk from the beach. At the heart of the property is our large open-air palapa — the place where guests cook, eat, work, relax, swap stories and often end up spending far more time than they planned.

Troncones Point is not a party hostel and it is not just for surfers. Our guests come from all over the world and range from solo travellers and couples to long-stay visitors, surfers and people simply looking for a quieter, more authentic way to experience Troncones.

We have just five rooms, which keeps the atmosphere intimate and friendly. Guests can enjoy comfortable private rooms, shared spaces, a tropical garden and easy access to the beach, local restaurants and the surrounding area.

After more than a decade in Troncones, we know the area well and are always happy to help with local recommendations, beaches, restaurants, transport, activities and surf information.

If you are looking for somewhere polished and anonymous, we may not be the right place for you.
