The location of El Zoo is central, just a 10 minutes walk to the beach, and 5 minutes to the town .

Really enjoyed my stay at El Zoo. Manned by staff and an army of volunteers who are all really friendly. Comfy dorms, nice pool and space to socialise. Free breakfast is good and well as tasty menú del día for 20,000 cop. I enjoyed the social activities especially Kareoke and daily volley ball at the beach. 15 mins from the main street with the bus stop and 15-20 mins from the beach. Lots of restaurants and shops close by.

Our private room was comfortable and reasonably priced, the staff we're lovely and super helpful and the hostel had lots of activities throughout the week which were really fun and great for making friends. The hostel felt spacious and had lots of facilities like the pool and the volley ball court. The food and the cocktails were also fantastic!

El zoo was my first hostel in South America 3 months ago and still one one of my favourites, for the price you really couldn’t go wrong. Good vibe, breakfast was great and the staff really friendly will always remember here
