The guests and vibe is very friendly but this is definitely a hostel full of only people working not travelling, as is any hostel in bundaberg really. There are no staff at the reception or to great you at any point, you just get an email and a GOKI code. I stayed in the 12 bed dorm and was very pleased with the pod style beds which were very spacious. I felt I had a lot of privacy and got a very good night sleep. The facilities seem newish and the kitchen and bathrooms were quite pleasant.

completely forgotten here name now but the Aussie lady who was a housekeeper was so lovely and chatty, all self check. in/out and maybe not the most social hostel in absence of her (small place, mostly Europeans who kept to their own groups, like most of Australian hostels tbh)

I had the best time in this hostel! Bundaberg is quite boring but the people in the hostel made up for it!! Rebel, who keeps the place clean and cosy, was the most amazing woman I’ve ever met, and the other people staying there long term were all great company. Free laundry and amazing showers, 2 kitchens and a nice place outside to chill! Would definitely go back
