About

Welcome to our family-run hostel, located in a beautiful historic building on Spálená Street, Prague 1. The metro and tram are just 50 metres from our entrance, and most major sights can easily be reached on foot – Wenceslas Square is only 600 metres away, while the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge are a pleasant short walk through the historic centre.

Our friendly multilingual reception team will gladly advise you on what to see and experience in Prague, give you a free city map, and share tips for places you won’t often find in guidebooks. We also have a Facebook group dedicated to tips about Prague and meeting friends.

What we offer:

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds or bunks, a reading light, and a power socket at each bed

Personal lockers for every guest free of charge

Fully equipped kitchens in every apartment – most private rooms share a kitchen with only 1–2 other rooms, and our dormitories have their own kitchen within the apartment

Free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out

Free printing of flight and train tickets

Traditional Czech restaurant in the building – over 100 years of history, hearty cuisine, and great beer

Bar with jukebox, table football, and a friendly atmosphere

Organised activities: free walking tour, themed city tours, outdoor escape game, pub crawls, river cruises on the Vltava

Perfect location with plenty around:
Near the hostel you’ll find shops, Karlovo Náměstí park, and the Máj entertainment centre – full of games, mini golf, darts, arcade machines, and a rooftop bar with beautiful views over Prague, food court and many of shops. Just a short walk away are also famous works by artist David Černý – including the iconic rotating Franz Kafka head, Butterflies and other original installations that give the city its unique character.

Cleanliness is a given for us – cleaning is carried out throughout the day.

It's a very good hostel, but the tram noise kept me awake.

The windows were facing the street so there was a lot of noise and I couldn’t sleep well but it isn’t the hostel’s fault so it’s okay but be aware

Its fine. It has basically everything you need for a hostel. Luckily I had cash on me since the reception is awful in this area and I could not use card. Even the ATM right outside of the property did not work. Additionally, there was no airflow in my dorm (in the basement) so if you have anything wet, it will not dry. Beds were good, bathrooms and showers werewere good, kitchen was good.
