Don Preguiça

We think a trip is not only made by walks in the woods and beaches. Of course this is very important, but in our hostel we want to provide a differentiated lodging, offering a quiet, comfortable and welcoming space to our visitors. In addition, we believe that the fundamental part of a trip is also the exchange of experiences, meeting new people, new ideas and making friendships. That is why we have chosen to offer a different kind of accommodation than hotels and hostels in Alter do Chão. In our living spaces and collective rooms we offer the possibility of interaction between our guests. The house has a large living area with comfortable chairs, pool table and barbecue area.

Don Preguiça Hostel is located in Alter do Chão, a village by the Tapajós River famous for the white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Our Hostel is on the edge of the village three blocks far from the main square - where you can find some bars, restaurants, grocery store and ATM. We are just a few steps away from the main beaches.

We have a dormitory for up to six people which has air conditioning, individual lockers and bathroom, we also have private rooms available for those who seek a little more privacy.
