Edens Yard Backpackers

Edens Yard Backpackers is quirky, Camino inspired Eco hostel/bunkhouse hybrid just a short leafy lane from the Eden Project. Facilities at this converted stable yard include free wifi, mixed bunk rooms and a communal lounge with books, games and good company.

Self-caterers are always welcome in our courtyard kitchen. Full cooked breakfasts and evening meals are available as extra on request and may be served outside or in the conservatory. A simple toasty breakfast with tea and coffee in our cozy communal lounge is included.

We have limited parking and with your kind understanding can accept cars with pre booking only.

We enjoy a peaceful rural setting 3 miles from St Austell and 2.5 miles from the Beach at Carlyon Bay. Green Cycleways and footpaths pass our gate and we are halfway down the Cornish peninsula so go explore East or West from here. Cyclists might like to know that we are a 60 mile 1 day ride from Lands End.

Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival.
Check in from 16:00 to 22:00 .
Check out before 10:00 .
Payment upon arrival by credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes included.
Breakfast included.
No curfew.
We do not accept online booking for guests younger than 18 years of age.
Families may get in touch to check the availability of a sole use dorm with access to shared facilities.

Please pre book your parking space before arrival on a first come first served basis. If we cannot accommodate your car you cannot stay with us - sorry. Of course the alternative is to arrive by bus, train, bicycle, tricycle, tandem, mono cycle or on foot.
Parking costs £4 per vehicle per night. We can park up to two motorcycles in the yard at a charge of £2 per bike per night.

Covered cycle storage is free and this includes electric assisted pushbikes.

You can cancel for a full refund up to 1 full day before your time of arrival for any reason at all though as much notice as possible is always appreciated.

In the event of less than one days notice or a no-show the first nights stay will be charged and subsequent days canceled. In the event that you cannot arrive on your scheduled day please get in touch. Edens Yard Reserves the right to cancel a booking if card details are or become invalid.

Guests must check in on their day of arrival by 22.00, thereafter we have no Curfew. After 22.00 please be quiet in the dorms. Our local tawny owl community usually endeavors to set the maximum volume in the yard after this time.
