About

Kuna Bali is a little oasis hostel hidden in a very peaceful and quiet street just behind the Monkey Forest Sanctuary and only a few steps from the main sights, shops and restaurants in Ubud.

Designed to be one of the coolest hostels in Bali, our modern style perfectly compliments the natural woods and lush gardens surrounding our swimming pool, rooftop and lounge area.

This is a space where like-minded travellers can come together to relax and socialise with no stress. Start your day with free yoga, relax with a free massage or explore Ubud by joining our day trip. In the evenings, get to know everyone at our movie nights, quiz nights, family dinners and party nights.

We are a fun, safe place to come together and find the friends you haven't met yet!

Summary of traveller reviews

Kuna Bali in Ubud offers a wonderfully relaxed yet social atmosphere, perfect for solo travellers and those seeking a peaceful escape. Guests rave about the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, the spacious and comfortable double beds, and the delicious complimentary breakfast. The daily free massages and yoga sessions are a highlight, adding a touch of luxury. While the location is slightly removed from the bustling centre, it offers a tranquil setting. Some guests note the bathrooms are a bit of a walk from the rooms, but this is a minor point in an otherwise fantastic stay.

In general, I would not stay here again. Although the staff were nice and the property looked nice, there was no lock on the door of any of the rooms and the showers were downstairs across the pool. If you wanted to shower or use the bathroom, you had to walk around the common area which is abit embarrassing if you are in your pjs. The breakfast was okay but sometimes the eggs were cold. The property was also far from the centre. For the price you can get better!
