most powerful shower in the world, almost took my head off! in all seriousness, great hostel but was dead quiet, think there was only a few of us staying there. maybe it was because of the season or i just caught it on a bad day, either way a shame because it had a great common room etc. i think the fact they have no staff working there makes it feel even quieter. other than that everything was excellent. the lady who runs the hostel is dead sweet and polite!

It's a reasonable hostel, they are owned by another hostel just down the road, so it means that other than checking in you don't see any staff other than for cleaning as there is no member of staff on the premises. They do give free tea and coffee and there is a nice size eating area. The only down sides are if you are in the room on the ground floor, the bottom beds get really cold because of lack of insulation around the concrete blocks next to the beds, and the showers are only warm not hot.
