Welcome to our home NAMASTAY HIMALAYAS, which has served many purposes throughout the years.

Originally built as a storage facility for farming supplies from the apple orchard, it was later repurposed as a primary school before being transformed into a cozy and comfortable retreat for extended stays for travelers.

The property is located in Kanatal, a Himalayan hamlet abundant with deodar, pine, oak & rhododendron forests.

Number of guests: 12 (We have 1 quadruple room which is fit for family booking or a group of 4 people and 4 double rooms which is fit for couples)

House Rules:
- People with symptoms of COVID-19 – including fever, cough, or shortness of breath – should not travel.
- No narcotics (drugs)
- No smoking inside the house (dispose the cigarette butts in the trash bins, do not throw it on the ground)
- Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited
(If you wish to make a booking for a celebration or an event, please inquire if the place is available for the same before booking)
- Please be mindful of the space, do not litter on the property or disturb the apple trees in any way, including plucking the fruit or damaging the trees themselves.

NamaStay Himalayas is located about 1.3 kilometers from the motorable road in Kanatal. You can give us a call once you reach the main road if you need any help with the directions.

Hygiene is very important. To ensure safety it is advisable to carry along your necessary toiletries (personal towels, masks, hand sanitiser, soaps, shampoo, and other important essentials). In case you are not carrying your toiletries please inform us when you check-in. We will provide them as per your requirement.

Connectivity: Only JIO and BSNL networks are available at Nama-Stay. The Internet is slow & intermittent. The networks are also not reliable, depending on weather & availability of electricity.

Please make sure to keep utility items in a sufficient quantity as the closest market from us is in Chamba which is 15 kms from here (Petrol, Medical, ATM)
