Originally Hotel Tambopaxi Lodge was created as a shelter of acclimatisation for mountain climbers , but due to the demand we had for private rooms, we created the Vip and Love Cabins.

Now Tambopaxi Lodge Hotel receives hundreds of guests per week, who enjoy the moor and Volcanoes that surround us.

The Andinistas shared rooms, have around three to ten bulk beds and two big set of restrooms for men and women with hot water. The VIP and LOVE , are private rooms with comfortable duvets, stove, as well as a private full bathroom with hot water. Each bedroom has windows strategically built to enjoy the view.

Hotel Tambopaxi Lodge Policies & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Fabulous location, that is to say, absolutely near nothing. Best way to reach staff is via Whatsapp. Both private & shared rooms. Staff lit the wood stove each night, which, with the blustery wind, was *extremely* cozy. Heads up, to save, electricity shuts off during the night, and water runs very brown. Breakfast is included, but dinner is $18-$23. Mold on bread, tough meat, and desserts that were still partially chilled inside. For the price, food should be better. Staff were all very helpful.

We had a very lovely stay here. The location is incredible, with views of Cotopaxi if you're lucky, but regardless amazing landscapes. The lodge is very cool and charming. And the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the chimenea at night. Couldn't recommend a stay here more!
