Lagarza Hostel is a beachfront hostel at beautiful Shalpa Beach - a secluded volcanic sand cove beach surrounded by palm trees and nature.

We offer amazing beach/ocean views,infinity swimming pool, mini pool, various chill out areas, rooftop beachfront deck, tasty healthy kitchen menu, a friendly staff, and the BEST VIBE!

Lagarza has numerous palm trees, fruit trees, and spacious green areas that will make you feel in touch with nature while enjoying the sound of the ocean waves!

Our cancellation policies and/or date changes are at least 48 hours in advance of your stay. Therefore, no type of refund will be made and we will charge de 100% of the total for your reservation if it is within the stipulated time.

Truly an incredible place to stay! Huge beds, and the view from the pool area is just stunning. This place is paradise. My only issue I ran into was the shower situation. It’s a bit awkward, there are 2 shower stalls but not really anywhere to put your things while you’re showering so you have to leave them outside the shower stall. If it was a private bathroom it would be fine, but since it’s communal it’s awkward to change before and after. Overall an amazing place to stay, I will be back!

Very secluded but that’s what we wanted. Not much food options around but the food at the hostel is really nice, on the pricier side for a backpacker budget though. A slice of paradise, highly recommend.

Best hostel in El Salvador. Amazing garden, pool, view. Great to relax, semi private beach, daily activity. Huge beds, great place to pamper yourself, I can only recommend this hostel.
