The structure dates back to the late 60's and the intended use has always been based on low cost tourism to allow anyone to travel at low cost without having to give up comfortable accommodation.
A few minutes walk from the Meazza 'San Siro' Stadium, location of football matches and musical concerts, and even closer to the Hippodrome, it is also an excellent starting point for discovering the city and its beauties: The Duomo , the Pinacoteca di Brera and its contained works, the Castello Sforzesco, and the famous painting 'The Last Supper', a masterpiece by Leonardo Da Vinci. Milan is certainly a city to discover and admire; capital of Lombardy that will never cease to excite you. The subway stop is a few minutes walk from the hostel (QT8 - red line) and the bus and filubus stops for both the center and the Central Station are even closer.
Milan is the undisputed capital of Italian fashion and design, but there is absolutely no lack of typical clubs, restaurants, pubs and locations where you can meet up with friends and spend a pleasant evening.
