Masaka Backpackers & Campsite

Masaka Backpackers provides hostel accommodation, both dormitories and private rooms, and a campsite. We have a 24-hour front desk, restaurant and bar, terrace, barbecue facilities, and a big green garden.

At the hostel, the majority of the rooms are complete with a private bathroom, while a few rooms have shared bathrooms for our guests to choose from.

Guests at the accommodation can enjoy a breakfast, lunch and dinner in our restaurant.

Masaka is a popular stopover on the way to Tanzania, Rwanda, or Kampala for both tourist groups and independent travellers. Lake Nabugabo Wetland System is 21 km from Masaka Backpackers.

Reception available from 8:00 to 17:00.

Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 13:00 to 17:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.

Breakfast not included - 8.00 USD per person per day.
No curfew.
