When we arrived at the hostel, we were charged twice the advertised price per person. We were told that the prices shown when booking were winter prices and that summer prices were different. The prices published on Hostelworld were not respected. The room doors cannot be properly locked, there are no lockers to store your belongings, and you can hear absolutely everything from the street. There is no reception, so anyone can enter the hostel. The beds are poor quality and the rooms are ugly

My stay at the island hostel was amazing! I would give 10/5 stars if I could. The building is beautiful, the rooms were very comfy and the other open rooms were well kept and a very nice space to be in. the staff were exceptional too, had to be some of the kindest people I've met. if you want a nice, chill place to stay, this hostel is the perfect spot. I had an exception stay!

do not recommend, the manager threw a fit and wanted to overcharge us by 150€ bc they 'had problems with hostelworld'. we negotiated and got to lower it but we found out this happened with all other guests. the place is more of a shared house than an accomodation so there's no facilities, the doors dont close, the bathrooms are filthy and there's no staff around. they dont offer bag deposit either. lagos is nice, save yoir money and dont come here
