The hostel has everything you could want from a hostel, free coffee, tea, toast, kitchen facilities, etc. Great staff as well, much thanks to Paul for the impromptu tour and his valuable tips on what to do in Dover. The property is right next to the cliffs!

The room was extremely dirty. The door lock was not working, the toilet still had mess inside, the shower cubicle had a hole on the roof. Me and my wife booked the room for 54 pounds expecting a basic clean bed and toilet and it certainly wasn't the case. We had to immediately leave the hostel and book a last minute hotel. My wife has gotten rashes just from sitting on the bed for a minute. And to top it all off, they sold us an unsealed water bottle in the bar.

Relaxed and quirky. It is more like a transient BnB. The regulars come back for a reason. You will either get it or you won't but you will not have a bad experience either way.
