Bostel is a new concept that comes from the word Bosque (Forest in Spanish) and Hostel. Offering the only space of its kind in all of Mexico!
An innovative concept where hostel life meets luxury for a third of the price!
The Bostel is situated in the mountains of San Jose del Pacifico, Oaxaca. 20 mins by walk from the main town, 8 mins from the bus stop at the main entrance and 5 mins by Mototaxi costing only 20 pesos. San Jose is great place to break up your journey between Oaxaca and the beaches of the Pacific Coast!
Our Bostel has three rooms named after hallucinogenic mushrooms representative of the region, where each room accommodates 6 guests in total. We offer two terraces, a reading area, seperate bathrooms and toilets, a living room with a fireplace, work areas, dining room, kitchen and a firepit outside.
There is also a gorgeous sunset viewpoint, coffee shop, bar, convenience store and hammocks on the property.
We also have private Cabins so don't forget to ask about it by Whatsapp or email.
Please note: Although on the same property, the Cabins are a seperate experience to the hostel and so if you require the use of a kitchen, it must be stated when making the bookin. Dependent on how many people etc.. it will be at the properties descretion if the use of the hostel is granted.

Bostel Rancho Viejo Policy and Conditions:
Cancellation Policy: 24hr before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the full amount of your reservation.
-Payment upon arrival by cash ONLY ( Please note: There are no ATMS in town)
-Payment by card is more commissions.
-Taxes not included (16% VAT 3% Lodging tax )
-We require $200 pesos or an ID as a deposit, which will be returned to you at check out
-Breakfast is not included.
