Gafa Garden is situated in the best location of İstanbul, we offer a quiet place in a crowded city. The property has a beautiful garden, delicious breakfast and a great location.

Our hostel is only 200 meters to İstiklal Street, 800 meters to Galata Tower and Taksim Square. Yoy can walk from here to Galata Bridge, Spice Bazaar and ship ports.

Gafa Garden is located near many clubs, bars and a lot of restaurants in Taksim area and nearby to our hostel. We also have a unique and beautiful garden.

We offer clean bed and a maximum of 4 beds in a room, not a crowded hostel. Metro, subway and airport shuttles are only walking distance.

Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Be careful if you book with payment on arrival instead of pre-payment! The hostel ONLY required cash, insisting on a 10% fee for card payments, and was quite rude, as if I didn't intend to pay at all! When I pointed out that the 10% fee was a scam, I was able to pay by card. During my stay, they tried to move me from room to room several times!

I really enjoyed my stay.I have nothing bad to say except for one thing: When I was in my room in the womens-only dorm,another hostel guest-a man, was let in by one of the staff.It was a man I met before once and I guess he asked for me or something.Not only is it not okay to let a man into a womens-only dorm, but they knocked at my door once and then immediately just let themselves in.I could’ve been changing for all they know.It was a very uncomfortable situation.I hope this wont happen again…

Be careful if you book a 10bed room or a room in the basement! The 10-bed room is located right next to the terrace where the dining room and reception are located, and music can play there until late at night, making every sound audible. Furthermore, the toilets and showers are right next to this room, and the door itself is so thin that you can hear every toilet flush! The "beds" themselves are essentially boxes, and some residents felt unwell, likely due to lack of air—the man next to me ran to the bathr
