Summary of traveller reviews

Sunset Catalina in Santa Catalina offers clean and comfortable rooms in a prime location, close to the beach and amenities. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. While it functions more like a hotel with limited social areas, it's a great base for travellers seeking a quiet stay.

Lovey staff. Right behind the bus stop. Close to the little super markets. Decent kitchen. Ended up having the 2 bed room to myself.

It doesn’t really feels like a hostel. I had a dorm for 2. So it feels more like a shared room/bathroom. It has AC which is a big plus! It has a kitchen which is also nice. But no social environment.

Very clean nice rooms, great price and great location! It’s true there’s no hang out spot so it’s more of a hotel than a hostel, but it’s worth it for the price and cleanliness!
