Hostel Maria Mulata Palomino offers you private rooms, dorms, tents and hammocks with nice garden area, bar, restaurant, chillout areas and many corners where you can work remotely.

Located just 100m away from the beach, Maria Mulata is mainly famous for the burgers (nr1 on TripAdvisor), live music events and a great atmosphere at the bar with a good mix between backpackers and locals. There is free Wifi (and solar power for the rooter), free drinking water and free coffee all day long. All beds and rooms have a mosquito net, a fan, big locker, sheets, blankets and towels (if you need).

Hostel is managed by a traveler that has spend the las 7 years (including pandemic) in Latin America.
We tend to be CoWorking friendly and understand your needs if you work online.

REVIEW BUYING AND SLEEPING ON THE DANCEFLOOR STAY AWAY! Terrible experience at this "hostel" which is more of a bar that offers sleeping service The dormitory was located right next to the bar area with guests seated so they could easily see inside through the wooden walls and super loud music playing untill 3am The staff talk to you constantly and try get you drunk and spending money on overpriced food. They offer free drinks for good reviews which they use to mask bad experiences of guests.

A very weird place. dorm is basically just a shed in the garden, where everyone is smoking, so everything stinks. The whole environment is just a bit dirty and the people that where present there were giving of a weird vibe. I do not recommand it if you like to have a clean and chill stay
