Yellowwood Forest, 'where people and nature meet', stretches along a stream and lush indigenous forest, on the edge of beautiful Morgan Bay, within South Africa's Wild Coast.

There is a dorm with a porch/deck overlooking the forest, and a pizzeria/tea room and bar serving light meals and drinks (including craft beer and smoothies). For those wanting private accommodation, we have two rustic cabins sleeping two and three, a sweet old caravan with toilet and shower sleeping two, and an artistically built 2-bedroom Cob House with a private deck and fire pit. The shop and ablutions are quaintly yet solidly built out of stone, glass and recycled materials.

We welcome backpackers, families, bikers - anyone who would like to be close to nature for a night, or perhaps a month or more. This is not a 'party backpacker' and the atmosphere is chilled. The owners live on-site, and together with the friendly staff are available to assist with information, activity bookings, meals and laundry.
Yellowwood Forest is located along a forest and a stream which leads to the lagoon and beach. It's just more than a kilometer's walk or drive to the water.

Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 14:00 to 20:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

On Saturday mornings we have a market on site, and there may be traders setting up near the dorm. Please respect campers by keeping the campsite area noise-free in the evenings.
