Community-driven Caribbean hostel with daily social activities. Praba Hostel is located right in front of the beautiful beach of Palomino. It’s an ideal destination for travelers seeking nature, comfort, and authentic experiences. We offer 17 cozy private cabins surrounded by tropical gardens, relaxing hammock areas, a beachfront swimming pool, a bar with happy hour (5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.), a seaside restaurant

At Praba, every day is full of energy and movement. We have a daily activity schedule that includes yoga, meditation, flexibility workshops, beach volleyball, beer pong, karaoke, and dance classes—open to all our guests.

The atmosphere is relaxed, social, and colorful—perfect for connecting with other travelers or simply unwinding in the heart of nature.

We also offer a shared kitchen, water refill station, free Wi-Fi in common areas, a power generator to ensure continuous electricity, and free parking. Our bilingual staff is always ready to assist and enhance your experience.

You can also book your local experiences at the front desk, such as river tubing, visits to indigenous communities, surf lessons, and more.

We are just a few minutes' walk from Palomino’s town center and 90 km from Santa Marta Airport.

Good location and the salsa class was fun! It wan however not a very social atmosphere, maybe because it is low season, but also because the rooms are very far away from the reception/common areas. The condition of the dorms was not great. Very thin walls and not really possible to close the bathroom door.
