The Orchard (Hostel Private Bunks) is our latest addition to the Apple Tree Inn in the heart of Radium Hot Springs.

We have an entire floor dedicated to our unique private bunk Hostel that sleeps a maximum of 23 guests which can also be booked as 1 big unit when available. We have a living room with 2 full couches and a love seat. 55' smart tv, kitchenette/dining, amenities for cooking and eating (All dishes, silverware, pots, and pans) 2 mini-fridges, 1 mini freezer, hot plate, microwave, toaster, and toaster oven as well as picnic tables outside with barbecues.

There are 7 bunk beds, double beds on the bottom and single beds on top. 1 small room with a double bed. Shared washrooms (Men's and Women's) with 4 (toilets, sinks, and showers). There are 15 beds in total. The bottom bunks and the extra room are double beds for 2 guests. The bunks are private and have lockable privacy doors. The top bunks are private with a curtain on the front.

The Orchard (Hostel Private Bunks) Policy and Condition:

Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 16:00 to 23:00 .
Check out from 00:00 to 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes not included - 16.00%
Breakfast not included.

The facilities are recently renovated with a clean and new appearance. The bunks are unique. If you do not like a small sleeping area this may not be the space. Choosing the lower bunk option will give you a more room like feel. Either option does allow a person to fully stretch out. The top bunk reminds me more of a top bunk on a SCUBA dive boat I have experienced. A well equipped kitchen but, with only a single burner induction cooking plate. It could use a couple plastic burger flippers.

I booked this as an option if I could make it there for a night, paid a non refundable deposit! Then 6 hours later I realised we wouldn’t make it, rang and cancelled and they exercised their right to charge the full amount for 3 people!!! After 6 hours!! Like they missed a whole stack of bookings because of me…? Pathetic operation

The hostel was clean and the private bunks were really comfortable. Unfortunately there weren’t many people staying so the common areas were really quiet. We did not meet any of the other guests to make friends. Temperature wise, the bunks were very warm, almost uncomfortably so. The water in the shower in the morning was luke warm. It was also a little loud in the morning because there is no door between the kitchen and the sleeping area. Overall, was a good experience with some room to improve
