Bethlehem City Hostel

Bethlehem City Hostel is a family business located on star street in a central location, everything is within short walking distance, bars, restaurants, bus stations, and even nearby cities.

Our hostel is located on Star Street, once the only road leading to the old city.

This street is traditionally used by Christians to celebrate Christian holidays throughout the year as it was originally used by the Holy Family over 2000 years ago.

The hostel is the newest in Bethlehem, the general design is simple and contemporary, we aim to operate as a social business that enables travelers to contribute to the local community in cultural, artistic, and matters of sustainability, and we welcome interested guests to take initiative and collaborate with the local community.

We are very honored and lucky to be located here.



Bethlehem City Hostel Policy and Condition:


Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 14:00 to 23:00 .
Check out from 08:00 to 12:00 .

Payment upon arrival by credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included - 15 ILS per person per day.

General:
24 hours reception.
No curfew.

Some tips to enjoy your time in Bethlehem,
We are in Palestine and the general culture is Islamic.

While these rules are not always as strict here in Bethlehem due to a larger Christian presence, they are still important rules to follow.

Dress to the same standards as the locals - modesty is an important part of our culture for both men & women. Avoid short shorts/skirts & be sure to keep your chest, torso, & shoulders covered while in public.

-Avoid talking politics with strangers - these kinds of conversations can be very emotionally charged, best to avoid these topics with people you don't know.

-Obey the law, and you'll be fine - Don't do anything you wouldn't do at home.

-Don't approach locals of the opposite gender- Unless you're looking for directions or for marriage, it's best to stick with interacting with locals of your own gender. This is more important for foreign men approaching local women (especially those visibly Muslim or wearing hijab).

-You can drink but not too much.

1. Check-Out 12 pm - Luggage can be stored at the hostel for free.

2. No Drugs - Yes, weed is also very illegal here.

3. Alcohol Allowed - Please drink responsibly.

4. Outside Guests - must be pre-approved by management. Approved guests are only allowed during quiet hours (11 pm-11 am) and are never allowed in the rooms.

5. Leaving Early in the morning? Please be sure to check out and pay the night before.

6. Keep Noise down after 11 pm. Our quiet hours are 11 am-11 pm.

7. Smoking is allowed on the balconies only- no smoking indoors.
