Niceclean quiet hostel, extremely close to the beach. Oscar and Isabell are very friendly and helpful. plenty of hot water and they allow you to use to laundry for free which was greatly appreciated. The only thing I didn't like was the cats in the kitchen, I'm allergic and they're also a trip hazard when you're cooking. Either keys for the dorm doors or else lockers would add a little more reassurance for guests too.

Good location and Mexican owned, which is nice and rare in La Ventana. As will all places in La Ventana the water quality is very hard for bathing and tastes bad when brushing teeth. It's clean and the manager is friendly. Be prepared to practice your Spanish. My only issue with the place is that there are many details that were unfinished. For example, the door was missing some trim and a the threshold was missing with spiky spikes where it used to be. These would be easy fixes.
