Talata is the perfect place to wind down, chill on a hammock or go for a swim in the ocean.

We have a separate traditional cabaña in Wayuu style dormitory and 5 shared toilettes.
A beach bar is spreading good beats and cold drinks, best place to see burning sundowns. Basically you'll sleep under millions of stars with the sound of the waves.

We love it simple, easy and relaxed. Talata is located where the Guajira desert kisses the beautiful Carribean sea, 30 minutes from Riohacha and on the way to Cabo de la Vela.

The beauty of a desert come with its peculiarities means we have no running water but plenty of free potable water for drinking and showering and bucket showers. We're also aiming to live sustainable that's why we only get our house powered from the sun. Last but not least : we're also an animal refugee! We have dogs and cats and 2 chickens. They all running free but very friendly. You have to love animals to be here!!

Talata Hostal Policy and Condition:

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
